BMW X4 Concept

German carmaker BMW has unveiled the first X model back in 1999, the BMW X5. We also have to mention the BMW X3 and the BMW X1 which were also the first SAVs in their class and continue to set the pace among their rivals today. Back in 2008, the manufacturer has developed and introduced the BMW X6, the first Sport Activity Coupe. The X range had and continues to have a lot of success.

Now the carmaker has developed the BMW Concept X4, a model that previews the future of the X family. To make a better idea, please take a look in the gallery below. You will see that it has a lot of elements borrowed from the coupe version. It has eye-catching proportions and a lot of high quality details that in the end manage to develop an exclusive car, dynamic just like you would expect from an X model. The X4 production variant will be out of the factory sometime at the beginning of next year, when it will also go on sale.

The character of the new X4 is being underlined by its dynamic proportions. It measures 4.648 mm in length, 1.915 mm in width and 1.622 mm in height. The wheelbase measures 2.810 mm and to transfer the output to the road, the engineers have offered 21-inch alloy wheels. On the sides it has a high-gloss frame and the grille features prominently sculptured bars with ultra-stylish detailing. Also, the grille features additional air apertures to ensure an increased supply of cooling air to the engine. At the back we can see the slim LED tail lights positioned at the outer edges of the rear part. Also the rear window offers an even more powerful impression. One of the most obvious elements is the rear apron. The BMW X has a more robust character thanks to the matt black surfaces that lower the perceived height of the car.
