We should all be thankful for evolution and all the best things it brings with it. We are talking here about science, of course, but also technology and industrial design. To be more precise, let us take a look in the internal combustion engine, styling and also aerodynamics. One good example is the well-known Porsche carmaker. The 911 symbolizes the pinnacle of design evolution. If we go back in time we can see clearly how things started and nowadays, the 911 Carrera makes a lot of heads turn around. We have to admit that this model can be easily recognized all around the globe thanks to its sculpture. Of course, Porsche is not the only brand doing so well. Here we must mention the VW Golf, the Range Rover, the Mazda Miata and also different versions of the Bavarian BMW. This last one can be easily recognized thanks to the twin-kidney grille, but also, lately its styling comes in handy as well.
Let us turn our attention towards the future 2014 BMW X5 SUV. Not long ago, we had the opportunity to see it for the first time in some spy photos. To be really hones we had difficulties seeing the differences between the old and the new X5 model. The new one still has the strange small rear quarter windows and stumpy proportions. The body curves and the shapes are more fluid and the common upper body crease has a slight curve at its frontal starting point. At the front it has round twin fog-lamps that we already know as the BMW keeps having them since 1999, when the X5 was debuted. The model receives power from a 2.0-liter engine, but also from inline-sixes and V8 units as well. The engineers have tried to use lighter body materials to get the weight down. These are all the information available so far on the matter.
