If there is a brand that benefits of the tuning companies’ attention that certainly is BMW. The German cars have always been challenges for both the experienced and the beginners in the tuning field. The 2014 BMW X5 is relatively a new vehicle. But despite this there are a lot of tuning companies that created an upgrading program for it. However this hasn’t stopped the guys at Kelleners Sport to do a tuning package that works with the crossover.
The BMW X5 has been equipped with a widebody kit that contains a new front spoiler, extended wheel arches and a wider rear skirt. The model can also receive a stainless-steel sports exhaust system, a coilover suspension, sport springs (which reduce the ride height by up to 30mm) and a set of 22-inch alloy wheels. On the inside, the vehicle can receive anything the client wishes from premium leather upholstery to carbon fiber or wood trim.
Now let’s talk about the engine configurations, because the figures are modified by Kelleners Sport. The xDrive30d variant can be upgraded to produce 302 PS (222 kW) and 655 Nm (483 lb-ft) of torque. This is an increase of 44 PS (32 kW) and 95 Nm (70 lb-ft). The xDrive35i version can receive a KS Power 35 module that enables the engine to output 358 PS (263 kW) and 468 Nm (345 lb-ft) of torque instead of the standard 306 PS (225 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. And finally, the xDrive50i can be tuned to develop 527 PS (386 kW) and 761 Nm (561 lb-ft) of torque thanks to the KS Power 50 module. Well, this will be all from Kellers Sport and their tuning package for the BMW X5.
