Germans from BMW have started the production of the 3rd generation BMW X5. The model is a Mineral White M50d that comes with a 6-cylinder inline diesel engine with M Performance TwinPower Turbo technology. It also comes with Exclusive Nappa Mocha leather interior which will be exported to a dealer in Eastern Europe. According to a BMW official, their engineers will continue to build the next-generation X5 with the superior quality the customers are expecting. The new model sets new standards in terms of powerful design, luxurious spaciousness, cutting-edge versatility and efficient driving pleasure. It is easy to see the differences between the current version and its predecessor.

The BMW X5 sDrive35i and the X5 xDrive35i will come with a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline six capable of generating 300 horsepower and 300 lb. ft. of torque. Next we have the X5 xDrive 50i that comes with the latest TwinTurbo 4.4-liter V8 unit capable of producing 445 horsepower and 480 lb. ft. of torque. The last option is a 3.0-liter unit whose TwinPower technology includes VNT turbo charging and common rail direct injection capable of generating 255 horsepower and 413 lb. ft. of torque. This unit provides power to the BMW X5 xDrive35d. The model was designed to work using less fuel and producing less CO2 emissions through weight minimization, optimized air guidance, engine technology and by using the 8-speed automatic transmission. Actually, the X5 is the only model in its segment to come with Active Steering, a technology developed by BMW.
