This morning Buick revealed the new 2014 LaCross sedan for all its customers and enthusiasts. Apparently the new model received new interior and exterior design cues, but also some technological elements as well. To be more precise, the carmaker will show everything live at the 2013 edition of the New York International Motor Show. Everything will be revealed before going on sale on the North American carmaker, scheduled to start this summer.
The modification start with the exterior, with the front end actually which receives a larger and more prominent waterfall grille, a re-sculptured bumper, new LED-equipped headlamps and new designs for the alloy wheels. We do not have to forget about the revised LED wraparound tail lamps connected by a new chrome strip, but also different exhaust finishers at the rear. On the inside, designers have offered a new instrument panel and also a redesigned center console which has a lot in common with the current LaCross model found on the market. Moving on, we also have to mention the new seats, improved quality materials and of course, we should not overlook the Ultra Luxury Interior Package. This actually includes semi-aniline leather seats and trim, but also wood elements and synthetic suede on the door pillars and on the headliner.
In terns of technology we also have to mention the next-generation IntelliLink infotainment system and also the new radar-and camera-based safety elements including Side Blind Zone Alert, Lane Change Alert, Forward Collision Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Automatic Collision Preparation, and Lane Departure Warning. The engines will be available with 2.4-liter and 3.6-liter direct-injected V6 engines. All the output will be transferred through a 6-speed automatic transmission to the wheels. These are all the info available on the 2014 Buick Lacrosse for the moment.
