Carmaker Chevrolet has managed to unveil the range-topping High Country version of their new Silverado. According to the manufacturer, the model is scheduled to go on sale this fall and so it will be joining the LTZ and Z71 models in the lineup. The model is very easy to recognize and to spot in the crowd as it has a unique chrome grille with horizontal chrome bars, halogen projector headlamps and also body-color front and rear bumpers. To transfer all the power produced to the road, the engineers have offered unique 20-inch chrome wheels covered in 275 / 55 R20 all-season tires offered as standard. We will also see of the new Silverado chrome body side moldings, door handles and mirrors.
In terms of interior, the High Country version of the Chevrolet Silverado comes with a special saddle brown interior with authentic materials throughout. In this category we have to mention heated and cooled perforated premium leather front bucket seats with High Country logos on the headrests, Bose premium audio, front and rear park assist and also Chevrolet MyLink connectivity with an 8-inch touch screen. In the end, the model is a 100% Chevrolet truck and it has the same capability and dependability customers have relied on for almost a century.
Under the hood it hides a 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8, SAE-certified engine capable of generating 355 horsepower. In terms of fuel economy it has 23 mpg on the highway. The engineers have also prepared a 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 engine. The two will come with direct fuel injection, Active Fuel Management and continuously variable valve timing. These will provide great power and torque to all its customers. In terms of standard elements we also have to mention a chrome rear bumper with CornerStep, integrated trailer brake controller, sunroof, navigation and also a High Country Premium Package that includes heated steering wheel, driver alert package, adjustable pedals and a lot more.
