Chevrolet Silverado price

Time has come to finally find out more on the new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. The carmaker announced initial pricing, performance data and also EPA fuel efficiency. After a close analysis we can tell that the new model is now a model that should be feared in the light-duty pickup segment. The retail price suggested by the manufacturer was established at $24.585 and here we have to include the $995 destination fee as well. As you can see it has the same base price as the 2013 model.

The production for the regular cab starts this summer and will come with a series of enhancements. We have to mention the EcoTec3 engine, a 6-speed automatic transmission used to send the output to the road, a stronger, quieter cab with an all-new interior, four-wheel disc brakes that come with Duralife rotors and also a new bed with standard box rail protectors and CornerStep bumper. The ones that will buy the 2014 Chevy Silverado will also receive a standard scheduled maintenance program for two years or 24.000 miles. The price of the vehicle also includes up to 4 maintenance visits, each one of which includes a regularly scheduled oil change, oil filter, and replacement and so on.

The engine mentioned above is capable of generating 383 lb. ft. of torque and 355 horsepower and the EPA estimates reach 23 mpg on the highway for 2wd models and 22 mpg on the highway for the 4x4 models. These figures are better than the ones of the 2013 Ford EcoBoost turbocharged V6 for both models. Silverado will also be available with a 4.3-liter EcoTec V6 expected to offer exceptional torque, but a bit later this year. The engineers will offer it with a 6.2-liter V8 as well. The performance data and EPA estimates fro these last units mentioned will be available in the next few months. To read more, please visit their official web site.
