The Datsun automobile brand is nowadays almost forgotten although it had great success with the 510 Fairlady roadsters and later the Fairlady (240Z) coupes. However resurrection arrived in countries like Indonesia, South Africa, India and Russia, once Datsun has released its long waited model, the Datsun GO. Now the brand is on an ascendant line and it has just revealed the 2014 Datsun GO+ model.
The 2014 Datsun GO+ is nothing else than a 5+2 MPV model specially designed as family cars. The GO+ continues the same way as the GO, with a modern image given by the dynamic silhouette and the strong shoulder line. The vehicle is a rather roomy one because of its 2,450mm wheelbase. The GO+ family car is 3,995mm long, 1,635mm wide and 1,485mm tall. The five-door MPV has three rows of seats, the back ones being transformed into cargo room by folding, each time it’s needed.
The 2014 Datsun GO+ is powered by a 1.2 liter engine that works together with a five-speed manual transmission. This team offers great fuel efficiency and at the same time agility on road. The Datsun officials are hoping that the two relatives GO and GO+ will represent 50 percent of the total Nissan sales in Indonesia until 2016. Both of these cars are priced somewhere around 8864 USD. Anyone who wishes to purchase one of these two vehicles will have to wait for the next year to come because that is when sales begin.
