Ram Trucks is a United States based brand of light to mid-weight pickup trucks established in 2010 as a division of Chrysler Group LLC, formerly known as the Dodge Truck Division. It is in direct competition with the trucks manufactured by Ford or Chevy, so future projects should be a priority for the brand in order to keep pace with competition. This is precisely why Ram has just introduced a new Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition.
The Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition is primarily manufactured for off road situations, such as hunting, camping or fishing. The vehicle is based on the Ram 1500 4x4 Crew Cab Outdoorsman and comes in three exterior paint schemes: Prairie Pearl (pictured), Black Gold and Black. No matter of the chosen colour, all the vehicles will be wearing a mossy oak camouflage on the lower edges of the body and in the cargo bed's upper edge.
The Ram 1500 Mossy Oak Edition shows on the inside more camo, especially on the door panels and center stack. Ram has placed on the headrests the Mossy Oak logo and the car may have two colors for the cloth seats. More expensive are the Katzkin leather which has an Espresso Tuscany look and the Mossy Oak logo embroidered into the seatbacks. The vehicle will be officially introduced at NAIAS, which starts in Detroit next week and at the SHOT Show in Las Vegas. Its price starts at 39,985 USD.
