LaFerrari is the maximum expression of what defines the Italian car manufacturer, excellence. Excellence found in everything, in technological innovation, performance, visionary styling and the sheer thrill of driving. Ferrari LaFerrari became one of the most wanted super cars in the world since its launch at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show but this doesn’t seem to stop tuning companies from creating upgrades for the supercar.
As you recall, the LaFerrari came out as limited edition with 499 units being made. Well, one of these 499 proud owners of the model decided that the Ferrari representative in his garage wasn’t as tough as he wanted. So he asked help from JMB Optimering, a tuning company from Halmstad, Sweden to work on the engine of his vehicle, a V12 6262cc naturally-aspirated engine.
The V12 6262cc engine powering Ferrari’s LaFerrari produces 800 PS (588 kW) at 9,000 rpm and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque at 6,750 rpm. Together with the electric motor, the LaFerrari puts out 963 PS (708 kW) which should be more than enough for most of us. We are talking here about the stock version, released on the market. But as there are always exceptions to the rule, the guy who went to JMB should now be very happy with its vehicle’s output of 1,050 PS( 772 kW). The tuning firm did a great job with the figures of this LaFerrari, getting very close to the ones of the long awaited LaFerrari track-only version planned for a 2015 release.
