Fiat is a company that has been representing Italian design worldwide for 50 years now. The Fiat 500 is one of the most representative car models for the brand. After a coupe version introduced on the European market via the Geneva Motor Show in March, the Fiat 500C GQ Edition is now launched in the U.S.A.
The special edition of the Fiat 500C GQ comes with some elements that provide it some uniqueness. It has a special updated front fascia with large air intakes. It rides on a set of five-spoke alloy wheels that have a Hyper Nero finish and Rosso center caps. The upper vehicle is sportier through a top spoiler, whereas the lower part comes with an exhaust system made out of two exhaust pipes. The headlights, taillights and the parking lamps all come in a Gloss Nero finish. And if being unique means having some special badging, then this Fiat has “GQ 500” written on its B-pillar.
The cute Fiat 500C GQ is powered by a 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo engine that works together with a five-speed manual transmission and which produces 160 bhp (119 kW) and a maximum torque of 170 lb-ft (230 Nm). It will run the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) somewhere around 7-seconds. Still, the roof of the car can be manipulated at speeds of up to 60 mph (96 km/h) by the simple press of a button. The special edition benefits of the Alcantara and leather treatment on the inside. The steering wheel, the sports seats and other elements have some leather on them. The car will be available in the Fiat dealerships starting the early period of 2014 and it will come in Nero Puro (straight black), Bianco (white) and Granito Lucente (granite crystal).
