Ford Fiesta Facelift in L.A.

The current problem a lot of the drivers have is the price of fuel that continues to grow. Manufacturers and buyers as well try to see the advantages a small engine might bring. For example, American carmaker Ford will introduce the new 2014 Ford Fiesta at the Los Angeles International Auto Show at the end of this week. The model was redesigned to cover the needs of the North American customers. To be more precise, the carmaker offered not only cosmetic modifications, but also the new 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine developed by Ford. This turbocharged 3-cylinder engine is capable of generating 123 horsepower, offering ample performance for its class, while, it also delivers up to 20% better mileage and a 15% reduction in CO2 emissions. All these figures are being compared to a larger naturally aspirated unit. The fuel consumption is actually rated at 40 mpg which means it is the most frugal non-hybrid sub-compact found on the North American market.

The strongest modification refers to the MyFord Touch infotainment system that comes together with enhanced voice control and a 6.5-inch touch screen. As nowadays technology is highly rated the technological elements the new Ford Fiesta features can only come in handy. The model was designed to fit driver no matter the age. The Bluetooth connectivity and MP3 capabilities will impress everyone who wants to keep in touch with the rest of the world at any moment of the day. Another great feature of the model is the MyKey system. This allows drivers to configure maximum speed and audio limits and also it does not allow electronic stability control systems to be deactivated.
