The Ford Mustang Shelby has always been a legend in the auto field. The earliest versions date back to 1964. Currently, the Mustang is at its fifth generation and it is a vehicle that has been submitted to a lot of changes in order to be kept in fashion. News about the Shelby has always been among the favourites of the American brand’s lovers who just love to keep an eye on anything coming from the States. And as the L.A. is proudly taking place right about now, here we are with news about the Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang.
The Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang sits at the top of the Mustang range and this precisely features a more aggressive look especially due to some aerodynamically upgrades. The vehicle is powered by a V8 5.2-liter naturally aspirated engine featuring a flat-plane crankshaft and outputting more than 500 bhp (373 kW) and 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) of torque. Power is sent to the set of 19 inch bespoke wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox with a Torsen limited slip differential. This outstanding runner needs something good to be stopped. And the company thought that there is nothing better than 394mm front rotors with Brembo six-piston fixed calipers and 380mm rear rotors coupled with four-piston calipers. For some extra money the optional Track Pack offers an engine oil cooler and transmission oil cooler, too.
The Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang is distinguished by a set of Recaro seats, dual-zone climate control system and an 8-inch touchscreen display part of the MyTouch Ford infotainment system, as well as a driver control system featuring five modes which provide different settings for the throttle mapping, stability and traction control, ABS, exhaust and steering effort. There is no word on the price yet, but deliveries should begin next year.
