Ford Performance Vehicles is the Melbourne-based, premium performance vehicle partner of automobile manufacturer Ford Australia. The company has produced a range of Ford based models under the FPV brand name since April 2003. The roots of FPV can be traced back to 1991, when the English automotive engineering company Tickford began a collaboration with Ford Australia to produce high-performance variants of the Australian Falcon range. And now, they have just revealed the Limited Edition Pursuit Ute.
As we all know, the real star of the FPV campaign is the GT F. However, the Limited Edition Pursuit Ute is also quite attractive. The vehicle will come out as a limited edition with only 120 units to be manufactured. The supercar is powered by the GT F's supercharged V8 5.0-liter engine chilled down to 428 PS (315 kW). In the high-performance sedan version the engine outputs 477 PS (351 kW) and 549 PS (404 kW) with the overboost function turned on.
The correct price established for the Limited Edition Pursuit Ute is 52,990 AUD. The vehicle is distinguished by a G-force meter, leather upholstery with red stitching, individually-numbered cabin badges, bespoke gear knob and instrument cluster. It has also been equipped with a set of gunmetal 18-inch alloy wheels, an 8-inch touchscreen display and a special body stripe package. The FPV vehicle will enter the market in the following months.
