Every company is based on a dream. So is Honda, whose dreams inspire the persons that work there and transform everything from good to better. The company creates innovative products that certainly bring benefits to the society. Such a product is the Honda City. The fourth generation of the already mentioned vehicle has just been introduced in India.
New Delhi, the capital of India is the place where the Honda City had its official debut. The vehicle is made in Japan and it aims at implementing the new “Exciting H Design” styling language. The car measures 4400mm length and 1695mm width exactly as the previous generation, but its height has increased by 10mm to 1495mm. The wheelbase has also been stretched by 50mm, reaching 2600mm.
The Honda City is powered by a 4-cylinder, 1.5-liter DOHC i-DTEC diesel engine developed exclusively for the Indian market which uses the latest Earth Dreams Technology. Another available engine will be an upgraded 4-cylinder, 1.5-liter SOHC i-VTEC gasoline engine that targets to bring a better balance between performance and fuel economy. The mid-size sedan can already be ordered and it will enter sales in January 2014 in India. Other 60 markets will also have the pleasure of hosting the Honda City.
