Time has come for Honda to develop a new model year and this time we are talking about the Ridgeline mid-size, half-pickup truck, half SUV which is on the market for 8 years now. Well, of course, we are talking about a replacement prepared for the customers. According to the manufacturer, the new generation is scheduled to be released in 2016. The current Ridgeline vehicle will remain unchanged until the 2014 of September. Only then, the model will be pulled off the market for approximately two years, or at least this is what a report from Wards Auto declared.
Returning to a more current period, the carmaker released information regarding pricing details and not only for the 2014 version of the Ridgeline. To be more precise, the carmaker has offered a top of the range Special edition that apparently will be released in November this year. Unfortunately we do not have any pictures with it for now as in the photo gallery only includes the rest of the 2014 Ridgeline lineup. The new Special Edition will cost the same RTL grade with leather seats and navigation and the price will begin at $37.505.
This price does not include an $830 destination charge. Of course, this is the same situation with the rest of the models. To transfer the output to the wheels, the carmaker has offered 18-inch alloy wheels with black-trimmed spokes. On the rear tailgate it has the Special Edition badging and the black trim package from the Sport model. This actually includes smoked headlights and brake light housings, black tailgate and black honeycomb grille with black surround. In case you are interested to know, there will be three exterior colors available: Crystal Black, Alabaster Silver and Taffera White. The entire interior will be covered in black leather interior.
