The main targets of Hyundai are to realize the dream of mankind by creating a new future through ingenious thinking and also to challenge new frontiers. The latest task they accomplished on their way to reach the already mentioned goals is the 2014 Hyundai i10 which had its official debut at the last Frankfurt Motor Show. The new i10 generation is an important step forward for the company and it will surely ensure a leader position in the A-segment for the brand. Well, the Germans had a surprise from Hyundai, as the company has just introduced a special modified Hyundai i10 Sport, exclusively created for the German market.
The Hyundai i10 Sport is distinguished by a notably sharpened exterior styling, sitting on a set of 17-inch allow wheels, having updated side skirts, LED daytime running lights and red and black race-inspired graphics from the front bumper to the rear window. It also receives a 20mm lower suspension, a full music connectivity and a red sporting interior with partial leather seats.
The Hyundai i10 Sport is powered by a standard 1.2-liter naturally aspirated 4-cylinder petrol engine generating 87 PS (64 kW) and 120 Nm (88 lb-ft) of torque. This configuration allows the car to sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill in 12.3 seconds, reaching a maximum speed of 175 km/h (109 mph). The average fuel consumption is rated at 4.9 l/100km. The pricing of the sporty hatchback is 13,990 EUR.
