According to Chryler, the new 2014 Jeep Cherokee will have a starting price of $22.995 on the North American market, without including the $995 destination charge. The model will go on sale on this market a bit later this year. The new model will offer more fuel economy, more advanced safety and technology elements and even more class-leading 4x4 capabilities, a modern and progressive new design. The new mid-size SUV will come with a segment-first 9-speed automatic transmission, fuel economy improvements of more than 45 %, superior on-road handling, a new aerodynamic design and more than 70 advanced safety and security elements.

Now, the new model will be available in four trim levels: Sport, Latitude, Limited and Trailhawk. The prices range from $22.995 for the Cherokee Sport 4x2 to the Cherokee Trailhawk 4x4 that will cost $29.495. The Cherokee Sport has a fuel economy of 31 mpg and a price point customers will value. The model receives power from a 2.4-liter MultiAir2 Tigershawk I-4 engine which produces 184 horsepower and 171 lb. ft. of torque. as optional equipment, the specialists offer Jeep Active Drive I 4x4 system, Selec-Terrain drive mode selector, SiriusXM Radio, ParkView rear backup camera with dynamic grid lines and to transfer the output to the road, 17-inch aluminum wheels.

The Latitude is the volume model for the Cherokee lineup and is packed with an impressive amount of standard and available elements. As optional, the model can be equipped with a 3.2-liter Pentastar V6 engine capable of generating 271 horsepower and 239 lb. ft. of torque with a driving range of 460 mile. The Limited comes as optional with a 3.2-liter Pentastar V6 with the same output as the Latitude. The Trailhawk comes with the same engine as optional.
