Jeep developed the new 2014 Compass and Patriot and together with them, the engineers have also offered a 6-speed automatic transmission on certain models.

Let us turn our attention towards the 2014 Jeep Patriot. Now, the model can be purchased with a new 6-speed automatic gearbox which helped a lot improve the on-road performance. In terms of fuel consumption, the car reaches 30 mpg. When it comes to safety, know that there are more than 30 safety and security elements available all for a starting price established at $15.995. According to different sources, the 2014 Jeep Patriot is the best priced SUV in America. The new model is perfect for buyers looking for a compact SUV that want traditional Jeep styling with best-in-class off-road capability at an affordable price. As standard, the new Jeep comes equipped with front seat-mounted side air bags, electronic stability control, electronic roll mitigation, Hill-start Assist, illuminated cup holders, anti-lock brakes, for lamps and sunscreen. The list continues with rear window defrost and wiper, tilt steering column, cruise control and also sliding visors with mirror. Beside these standard elements, there are also a lot more available. There is a Uconnect Media Center with iPod interface, SiriusXM Radio, navigation with SiriusXM Travel Link, power sunroof, a premium audio system with nine Boston Acoustic speakers, just to name a few.

The model is available in three drive train configurations: the front-wheel drive system offered as standard, the Freedom Drive I and Freedom Drive II. As standard, the 2014 Jeep Patriot features a 5-speed manual transaxle on the Sport model, a 6-speed automatic on the Sport model and standard on the Latitude and Limited models and the CVT2L transmission on the vehicles equipped with Freedom Drive II.
