Jeep Wrangler Polar Edition

It’s winter, it’s time to enjoy snow and everything related to it. And for all the snow and winter lovers, Jeep is introducing the Jeep Wrangler Polar special edition. The vehicle has been presented through a “Master of Winter” promotional web campaign that has the task of introducing the viewers into a virtual adventure, surrounded by snow, snowboarding and other winter related things.

Although pretty late, Europe is sensing the true feeling of winter so this is the perfect occasion to study the Jeep Wrangler Polar special edition. As a matter of fact, there is a strange thing with this edition, as it is based on the Jeep Sahara model. What do winter and Sahara have in common? Well, this Jeep branded special model. The off-roader is painted in icy blue and some mountain peaks painted on the hood are completing the wintery design. There are some special badges set on the vehicle, saying “Polar ° S 106° E”. These are the exact coordinates of Vostok, Antarctica, the place where the lowest temperature in the world was recorded, of -89.2° C or -128.56° F.

The Jeep Wrangler Polar edition features a new front grille with gloss black accents on the lamp throats and gloss black 18-inch alloy wheels, a solid spare-tire cover, and a color-coordinated top with a deep-tint sunscreen glass. Power is coming from the 2.8-liter turbo diesel engine that is linked to a 5-speed automatic gearbox, which develops 200 hp and 460 Nm of torque. On the inside, there are black leather and white stitching, Polar logos on the headrests, climate control, a multi-media steering wheel, heated front seats, cruise control, navigation system including a 6.5 inch touch screen, USB, AUX ports and a DVD player. The vehicle’s got everything a driver could possibly need.
