Jeep Wrangler Polar Edition for the US market

The US market will soon receive the new 2014 Jeep Wrangler Polar Edition and so, the ones waiting for it, should prepare their pockets. The new model will be available in dealerships starting with next month. We had the opportunity to see it for the first time at the Frankfurt Motor Show where the carmaker revealed it for the public for the first time. The designers have used as inspiration the difficult climate and extreme conditions specific for the Antarctic region. To transfer the output to the wheels the engineers have offered 18-inch Gloss Black alloy wheels and so that you know, the model will be available in both two- and four-door Unlimited versions. For the interior, the manufacturer has decided to offer black leather seats with Polar logo embroidered on the upper portion of the backrests.

The cabin of the special edition Jeep also comes with an all new cluster overlay with rings painted high-gloss Ceramic White and surrounding a blue background with the Polar logo as well. We will also see in Billet Silver Metallic and Bright White exterior colors. As standard, the new Jeep will come with automatic climate control, heated front seats, Electronic Vehicle Information Center, cruise control and a lot more. Under the hood the new limited edition model will come with a 3.6-liter V6 engine capable of generating 285 horsepower and 260 lb. ft. of torque. To transfer all the output to the wheels, the engineers have offered a 6-speed manual transmission or, as optional, a 5-speed automatic one.
