For the ones interested in owning an efficient and modern compact sedan, Kia came with a solution and its name is Kia Forte which is in fact one of the favorites on the United States market. For the ones that want something else, here we have for you the all-new 2014 model year version of its saloon. According to the carmaker, the model comes with the lowest base price in the segment. Apparently the price starts at $15.900 plus destination charges, established at $800.
When it comes to equipment, the new Kia Forte comes with satellite radio, Bluetooth connectivity, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, air conditioning, power-folding heated mirrors and a lot more, all offered as standard. The Popular Package includes 16-inch wheels to transfer the output to the road, cruise control and keyless entry. In EX trim all units will get parking camera, cooled glove box and also a UVO infotainment system. Under the hood it hides a 1.8-liter engine capable of generating 148 horsepower which are being sent to the wheels through an automatic gearbox. This element manages to increase the starting price by $1.500.
In the EX trim, the model receives power from a 2.0-liter direct-injection engine capable of producing 173 horsepower and the price for this was established at $19.400. The EX trim can also add the Premium Pack that offers power-adjustable heated front seats, a heated rear bench and leather upholstery. To transfer the output to the road, the engineers have offered 17-inch rims covered in low-profile rubber. Another option is the Technology Package that includes HID headlights, LED tail lights, a color 4.2-inches LCD cluster screen and also dual-zone climate control. The prices for each 2014 Kia Forte may vary depending on the options and elements available.
