Once you say Land Rover you automatically imagine a sport utility vehicle. The Range Rover is the company’s premium brand, which it a very successful one. Every car producer tries to come up with interesting and new things in order to face a field that is continuously changing and improving. So, the Land Rover has just introduced their 2014 Range Rover Evoque.
The updated version of the Range Rover Evoque will try to be a winner through some new elements brought by the manufacturer. The SUV has an updated 9 speed automatic transmission and its efficiency is well improved. The fuel consumption is lowered by 11.4 percent and, consequently, the CO2 emissions are also dropped by 9.5 percent. So, now we have a “cleaner” and friendlier SUV running on the streets. A great number of technological goodies have been set on the vehicle. Park Exit, Perpendicular Park, Closing Vehicle Sensing and Reverse Traffic Detection, Lane Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition and Wade Sensing are just a few of the options that can ease the driver’s life.
Besides these, the new Range Rover Evoque can be ordered with the InControl Remote system that allows the driver to make an Emergency Call, while the InControl systems triggers the alarm in case of theft. A lot of other customizable technologies can be set on the SUV if the client requires them. The Evoque comes powered by a 2.2 diesel engine (150PS), a 2.2 diesel 190PS engine and a 2.0-liter petrol with 240PS. There is no word of pricing yet.
