Range Rover Sport by Startech

The Geneva International Motor Show will be the following days the center of the auto world. Many vehicles will be presented there, among them also being the Range Rover Sport Widebody tuned by Startech. The tuning company comes from Germany, the most competitive country when it comes to new vehicles and tuning programs. And although a lot of firms are keen on developing projects for BMW or Mercedes cars, Startech breaks the ice and upgrades the British traditional SUV.

Startech placed an aerodynamic body kit on the Range Rover Sport consisting of new front and rear bumpers, wheel arch extensions and a three-piece Startech roof spoiler as well as a radiator grille, exterior mirror housings, side air vents in the front fenders, the liftgate trim strip and the surrounds of the hood vents made from carbon fiber. The SUV sits on a set of 23 inch ceramic-coated Monostar forged wheels wrapped in 305/30 R23 high-performance rubbers. The tuner also decided to bring the vehicle closer to the ground by 25mm by applying a special lowering module.

The Range Rover Sport is distinguished by leather and Alcantara upholstery in any color that the client chooses. The seat cushions and the center section of the backrests have the same honeycomb design that is on the radiator grille of every current Range Rover model. The decorative stitching is matched with the ceramic-coated Startech forged wheels. There are also a lot of carbon fiber trim elements included in the package. The tuner didn’t forget about the engine and upgraded it in such a way that it now produces 323HP (215 kW) at 4,000RPM and 680Nm (504 lb-ft) at 2,000RPM. This way, the vehicle powered by the 3.0 liter LR-TDV6 Biturbo diesel, can do the 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds. We’ll get to find out more about this in a few days.
