Lexus is already a name associated with quality, luxury and superior customer satisfaction. The brand reputation grew fast until Lexus became America's best-selling line of luxury motor vehicles. Lexus belongs to the global Toyota family, whose members together constitute the world's third-leading automaker. Everything they do, they try to do perfect. And now, following some leaked information, they have finally taken the veil off their 2014 Lexus GX model.
The 2014 Lexus GX model surprises with a new front fascia featuring a prominent spindle grille. Besides the facelift, there are also some new LED infused headlights, updated taillights and a modified rear bumper. The SUV rides on a set of 18 inch alloys having a liquid graphite finish. The potential new owner can find out that the vehicle has a lot of goodies that would spoil the driver’s experience once it is bought. Among these we can find a new infotainment system with an eight inch touchscreen display, GPS navigation, Intuitive Park Assist, Blind Spot Monitor, both heated and ventilated leather seats and a tri-zone climate control system.
The 2014 Lexus GX is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 engine that generates 301 bhp (224 kW) and 329 lb-ft (445 Nm) of torque. It is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission that sources the four wheel drive system. The model has an estimated EPA of 15 mpg city / 20 mpg on highway. The dealerships will receive the GX in September and it will be priced above $49,085.
