The SEMA Show is the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world. It draws the industry’s brightest minds and hottest products to one place, the Las Vegas Convention Center. Any important brand is exhibiting there their ultimate ideas. Of course, Lexus cannot miss from the picture, especially because in time it has become America's best-selling line of luxury motor vehicles. The company has just introduced the 2014 Lexus IS 350 F SPORT at the auto event of the moment which is taking place in Las Vegas.
The 2014 Lexus IS 350 F SPORT was designed by Rob Evans as a response to DevianArt’s challenge. The luxurious sedan was developed by the VIP Auto Salon. The vehicle received a wider body kit inspired very much from the original digital illustration of the car made by Evans. The IS gets a more aggressive and a sportier look, sitting on a set of 20 inch Nutek alloy wheels wrapped in Nitro Invo rubbers. They are stopped by some Brembo brakes. An aggressive rear diffuser is there to complete the picture.
The company hasn’t released any inside pictures yet, so we have to trust their statement according to which the Lexus model is equipped with Takata Racing Drift Pro LE seats and a carbon fiber trim. There is still no information regarding the powering unit so we might assume the sedan is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that outputs 306 bhp (228 kW) and 277 lb-ft (375 Nm) of torque. This unit allows the standard model to sprint from 0-60 mph in 5.6 seconds and to reach an electronically-limited maximum speed of 143 mph (230 km/h). Hopefully, we’ll get to know more details about the matter.
