Japanese carmaker Lexus has announced the winners for the IS design challenge prepared for the SEMA Show that will take place this November in Las Vegas. The 3rd generation Lexux IS will impress thanks to the new aggressive exterior styling demonstrated by a spindle grille, wider stance and sporty rocker panels. The specialists have joined forces with DeviantART and together have tried to make the new Lexus edgier and it was possible. Now, is seems that the ultimate IS sport sedan concept will be modified by VIP Auto Salon in 10 weeks to reflect the rendering. The specialists have announced the 1sr, 2nd and 3rd place winners and number one id Rob Evans from Seattle, Washington. His rendering will be built and displayed at the SEMA Show.
Lucia Lee from Pasadena, California came in second and Guanghao Huang from Southfield, Michigan came in third. The first place winner will receive a one-year lease for a 2014 Lexus IS F Sport, $2.000, a trip to the 2013 SEMA edition to see there is concept on display, 8.000 DeviantART points and a one-year premium membership to DeviantART. The prize seems quite consistent. The other two talented designers will receive a $1.500, a 6-month premium membership to DeviantART and 4.000 DeviantART points. The semi-finalists will also receive something for their efforts and talent. According to the carmaker, they will receive 2.000 DeviantART points, a 3-month premium membership to DeviantART and also a Lexus slim master hardcover notebook.
