The tuning legend John Hennessey, the head of the Hennessey Performance Engineering, has many impressive works on different cars, the most famous being on the Venom GT or Cadillac CTS- V. The one he lately worked on is the Lexus LX 570. The kit is called the HPE500 Performance Upgrade and Hennessey designed in order to provide more personality for the owners of the model.
The HPE500 tuning package for the Lexus LX 570 contains a TVS supercharger, upgraded fuel injectors, a high-flow air filter and an optimized ECU. As a result of these changes, the powering 5.7-liter V8 engine develops 500 bhp (373 kW) and 530 lb-ft (718 Nm) of torque. This means some extra 117 bhp (87 kW) and 127 lb-ft (172 Nm). These figures allow the SUV to sprint from 0-60 mph in 6.6 seconds and to do the quarter mile in 14.6 seconds at 98 mph (158 km/h).
Besides the power boost, the Lexus LX 570 receives some exterior badging, just so everyone knows that Hennessey put his hands on the vehicle and gave it another perspective on the road. There is also an individually-numbered plaque on the center console. So, if you are satisfied with having a more powerful Lexus, without any upgrades on the look, Hennessey can do quite a nice job when it comes down to performance.
