In the auto field there is a great competition between brands, each one of them trying as hard as they can to be the best. Due to this, another competition is on the run at the same time, between tuning companies, which make attempts to bring the most fashionable elements on the cars. TRD (Toyota Racing Development) is the in-house tuning shop for all Toyota, Lexus and Scion cars. Their last work is on the high end version of the Lexus NX F Sport.
The body kit set by TRD on the Lexus NX F Sport contains a new front bumper with integrated fog lights, slightly modified side skirts and a more aggressive rear apron with an integrated diffuser. According to Lexus, TRD's new body kit for the NX F Sport improves its stability at high speeds and this is a bonus for the vehicle. The car is also equipped with a special sport exhaust system with four round tailpipes, distributed in pairs, on both sides of the SUV.
The Lexus NX F Sport also received from TRD a new set of 19-inch lightweight forged aluminum wheels that weight only 11.4 kg each. TRD's new bespoke parts work on the NX300h and on the NX200t. For the time being, Lexus is offering these new elements on the Japanese market only. If the body kit has success, they will definitely sell them on other markets, too.
