Lexus RC Coupe

Lexus is clearly a name associated with quality, luxury and superior customer satisfaction. The brand reputation grew fast until Lexus became America's best-selling line of luxury motor vehicles. Lexus belongs to the global Toyota family, whose members together constitute the world's third-leading automaker. Everything they do, they try to do perfect. So is the 2014 Lexus RC Coupe, a superb vehicle that has just been introduced on the occasion of the Tokyo Motor Show.

The Lexus RC Coupe draws inspiration from the LF-LC and LF-CC concepts and it is looks quite sharp and fresh with its new shape and wide spindle grille. The great look is completed by some triangular LED headlights and by the new alloy wheels. The standard five-spoke ones are sized 18 inch. However, there is a set of optional 19 inch ten-spoke alloys that can be ordered for more personality. As something unique, the RC will be the first Lexus model to have a lightning package that reflects the light upwards, not downwards as we are used to.  Modern technology is not something to be neglected by the Lexus specialists. We can find a 7-inch navigation screen placed in the upper section of the dashboard, and a layered center console that includes the Remote Touch Interface, another premiere in a car wearing the Lexus badge.

The 2014 Lexus RC Coupe comes as two models. The “350” model is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine, whereas the "300h" version gets force from a 2.5-liter conventional engine mated with an electric motor. The new Lexus is 4639 mm long, 1838 m wide and 1394 m tall. The wheelbase measures 2730 mm. Four persons can stay more than comfortable inside the RC’s cabin. On the whole the new car is an elegant one, with smooth lines and it can very well be a difficult to beat opponent for its rivals.
