Germany is becoming more and more famous in the world not only for the car manufacturers but for the tuning companies, too. The tuning segment is continuously improving as the tuning firms have more and more spectacular cars to work on. And the competition is at its highest peak so they need to be inventive and unique to resist. German Special Customs (GSC) is one of these companies and they have just revealed a tuning package for the McLaren P1, called the Night Glow.
The McLaren P1 was produced in 375 units. So, Special Customs is addressing to those 375 persons who had the necessary sum to buy a McLaren, 866,000 GBP, to be more specific. The Night Glow tuning package offers a combined output of more than 1,000 HP (736 kW), which means an impressive increase, over the 916 HP (674 kW) output. The stock V8 twin-turbo 3.8-liter mid-mounted gasoline engine is able to generate so much power with the help of an in-house exhaust system with two round 100mm pipes designed in fighter jet style.
The best part in the tuning package is the power boost, but the McLaren P1 Night Glow also got some other goodies. It has received a new spoiler blade, side blades on the front apron with LED DRLs and bigger air inlets for cooling purposes, an adjustable rear wing and a roof-mounted scoop, as well as different side skirts, rear diffuser and air inlets in the rear side walls of the body. GSC commits to upgrade any McLaren P1 according to the client’s desires.
