Mcedes-Benz S-Class

One of the most important cars of the year for the whole automotive world is the new 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the one that actually replaces the W221 model. It was a bit surprising to see the photos you can see now in the photo gallery, but what can we do but accept them. We are actually expecting nothing until the launch of the model, or at least a few days before. So that you know, the official launching date was established for the 15th of May. As you can all see, the photos are darkly lit and unfortunately it is a bit hard to see all details.

The ambient LED lighting is emphasized in this first round of fresh photos. To be really hones, the design of the interior is not really a lot different from the one of the W221 model, but it is more modern-looking and so people will enjoy it even more. As we can see, there are no more hard edges and corners and all parts seem to go perfectly with other parts becoming one in a perfect harmony. The feeling of space inside is offered by the wood trim on the dash fascia that seamlessly continues onto the door. This way it forms a very obvious curve that does all the work in terms of interior space.

The new Mercedes-Benz S-Class comes with a very big 12.3-inch display that replaces the conventional analog dials. This system was foretold by the W221 model, which already had a display and not the regular speedo, turning it into a viewing module for the night-vision camera. There is more with S-Class. The new model will come with an active scenting system that will be capable of ionizing and cleaning the air and scenting it before sending it into the cabin. The seats are now heated, cooled and massaging electric, but the model also gets reclining rear seats. To improve the comfort level, the engineers have introduced the technology that includes the rotational direction of the seat cooling fans that can be reversed.
