Mercedes Benz SL Avalange GT-R by JMS and Piecha Design

It’s not something unusual that two or more tuning companies shake hands to create a tuning package, especially if it is a more complex one. And it certainly is not the first time when we hear about Piecha Design and JMS working together. And as Piecha Design is a company dedicated one hundred per cent to tuning Mercedes cars, we can only talk here about a Mercedes vehicle. To be more exact, the two tuning houses created a tuning program for the Mercedes-Benz SL Avalange GT-R.

JMS and Piecha Design thought that the SL Avalange is kind of a boring convertible so they decided to add some spices to it. The vehicle received a new front bumper, a revised grille and LED daytime running lights. The two tuning houses seem bvery confident in their work and believe that the styling is completely logical and it gives the impression as if there had never been another front for the vehicle.

The Mercedes-Benz SL Avalange GT-R is also equipped with some aerodynamic side skirts, polished aluminum side fins and a back spoiler. A sporty rear bumper and a stylish diffuser make the picture complete. The companies will reveal more details in April, when the package will be officially released. The price is expected to be somewhere around €12,000 ($16,570 / £9,890). By the time the package is finalized it will also include more new elements such as a new exhaust system and certainly new alloys.
