Mercedes E-Class by Carlsson

Carlsson is a German car tuning manufacturer specialized in Mercedes-Benz cars. The Carlsson tuning house was founded by brothers Rolf and Andreas Hartge in 1989. Carlsson's products are available for the entire current range of Mercedes-Benz models. And their last project is based on the latest generation 2014 Mercedes E Class sedan.

The tuning program for the 2014 Mercedes E Class sedan contains power kits for the different engine types of the sedan, a discreet body kit, and sets of light alloy wheels with various designs and dimensions. Carlsson's power kit for the 2014 Mercedes E Class implies reprogramming the sedan's ECU. The range-topping 2014 Mercedes E500 is upgraded to produce 385 kW/523 hp and 730 Nm of torque thanks to an additional free-flow sports air filter. The 2014 Carlsson E500 is enabled to hit a maximum speed of 300 km/h. The tuner places additional 52 hp and 70 Nm of torque to the 2014 E400’s engine. The peak speed of the 2014 E400 is raised to 280 km/h.

The E350 CDI Bluetec goes from 195 kW/256 hp and 620 Nm to 228 kW/310 hp and 700 Nm of torque. With respect to the E200 CGI, it reaches from 135 kW to 184 and 270 Nm to 155 kW to 211 hp and 330 Nm. The E250 CGI is tuned to reach from 150 kW/204 hp and 310 Nm to 170 kW/231 hp and 370 Nm. The tuner’s upgrading kit also includes a bespoke sport exhaust system with four 105 x 70mm oval tail pipes, a new front grille, a front spoiler and lip, a rear bumper and diffuser, and a discreet boot lid spoiler. The vehicles are also equipped with sport suspensions systems that lower the sedan's ride height by up to 30 mm. The inside has not been forgotten. Carlsson offers leather and Alcantara upholstery, wood carbon and aluminum trim parts, and illuminated sill plates. The price of these modifications is not known yet.
