Mercedes-Benz C-Class by Brabus

Mercedes means perfection for a lot of persons. So in these terms to come up with an upgrade is the ultimate challenge for tuning companies. And speaking about tuning, there is no other company more preoccupied by Mercedes cars than Brabus. When a Mercedes-Benz is modified by Brabus you expect the unexpected. This time the high performance tuning company has chosen to work on the current generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

The official Mercedes tuner offers an elegant aerodynamic kit for the C-Class, as well as specially created alloy wheels sized up to 20 inches. The body kit includes a new front spoiler that minimizes negative lift on the front axle and improves handling at high speeds and a spoiler lip for the trunk lid. The front of the C-Class models with standard-spec or Avantgarde front bumper can also receive Brabus air intakes. A massive insert for the rear bumper can also be ordered.

The gasoline Mercedes-Benz C200 will receive some additional 41 PS (30 kW) and 30 Nm (22 lb-ft) of torque. This is how the sedan will sprint the 0 - 100 km/h (62 mph) distance in just 7.0 seconds and will get to a maximum speed of 242 km/h (150 mph). To retain the engine’s durability and longevity, this tuning kit is designed to only use the performance-enhancing mapping once all parameters such as engine coolant and oil temperatures are in the green.

The Mercedes-Benz C220 BlueTEC gets some extra 50 PS (36 kW), while the maximum torque jumps to 450 Nm (332 lb-ft). The sprint time from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) is reduced to 7.1 seconds and the maximum speed is increased to 240 km/h (149 mph). All these new things coming from Brabus sound great and they can please all those Mercedes possessors who want something different from their car.
