Mercedes-Benz CLA 250

One day before the beginning of the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, Germans from Mercedes-Benz will introduce the new CLA. Officially, it will have its debut during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin that will start on the 15th of the month and will end on the 18th. As you can see in the photo gallery, the car looks very good and it offers a lot of sport goodies.

The North American customers will receive it and will be available here with front- or all-wheel drive. This option will be one of the options at least until the CLA45 AMG arrives. Under the hood it hides a 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder engine capable of generating 208 horsepower and 258 lb. ft. of torque. This output is being transferred to the wheels through a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. It reaches the road through 17-inch alloy wheels. The models found with the sport package are equipped with 18-inch wheels, instead.

The exterior design indicates that the CLA represents a further development of the modern classic Mercedes-Benz CLS. On the inside it has a sporty appearance. As a standard trim there is an anthracite surface available and additional trim options include aluminum, burl walnut wood and black ash wood. Inside the instrument panel there are five air vents. There are a lot of standard and optional assistance systems in the CLA for the driver. There is also the optional Driver Assistance package that offers DISTRONIC, Blind Spot Assist and Lane Keeping Assist.

Moving on, the new Mercedes-Benz CLA250 also features the PARKTRONIC with Advance Parking Assist. As standard, the CLA250 comes with electromechanical power steering that offers improved driver feedback and makes an important contribution to overall efficiency. There is also a Premium Package available for even more comfort and convenience.
