Mercedes-Benz G500 Convertible by Brabus

Mercedes means perfection for a lot of persons. So in these terms to come up with an upgrade is the ultimate challenge for tuning companies. And speaking about tuning, there is no other company more preoccupied by Mercedes cars than Brabus, actually the official tuner of Mercedes branded vehicles. When a Mercedes-Benz is modified by Brabus you expect the unexpected. This time the high performance tuning company has chosen to work on the Mercedes-Benz G500 Convertible.

The Mercedes-Benz G500 Convertible is equipped by Brabus with a new front bumper containing fog lights and LED daytime running lights. Other new elements are the steel running boards, refreshed front sports grille, flared wheel arches and a restyled rear bumper with a faux diffuser. The tuner also placed an LED brake light and its own spare wheel. The SUV is now painted in a metallic black paint. The inside of the car has not remained untouched. It is distinguished by perforated leather upholstery, a sports steering wheel, piano black and carbon accents and of course the compulsory logos and badges showing that Brabus is responsible for the new look.

The Mercedes-Benz G500 Convertible has also received a power boost from Brabus. The vehicle is now able to generate 462 PS (340 kW) and 615 Nm (453 lb-ft). Despite this, it will return only 11.7 mpg US (14.1 mpg UK or 20 liters / 100 km) in the city with corresponding CO2 emissions of 348 g/km. The SUV looks quite nice and it should offer more driving pleasure than before with all the new elements Brabus took care of offering.
