Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG by Vorsteiner

The Germans rule when it comes down to the auto industry. A German brand is more than enough when talking about perfection. However, the Americans from Vorsteiner seem to have many things to offer to German cars and they manage to add a bit more of charm to them. The famous tuning company has just developed a tuning program for the good old German SUV Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG. Let’s take a look at what they did.

It remains clear that the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG still is a strong vehicle, being powered by a 5,461 ccm V12 biturbo engine, rated at 612 hp (450 kW) and developing a maximum torque of 1000 Nm (738 lb-ft). The G63 AMG in the hands of Vorsteiner is the perfect example of how an old German cross country vehicle can still look modern nowadays. It is probably true that any antique vehicle can become modern with the appropriate touch.

Vorsteiner, a specialist of the forged wheels, equipped the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG with a set of 22 inch VSR-163 Forged Monoblock wheels in Matte Brushed Shadow finish. They are wrapped around in Pirelli Scorpion Zero rubbers sized 305/35/22. Vorsteiner hasn’t finished the tuning package promising to add to it an aero kit, too. The SUV will receive a few carbon fiber elements and we are looking forward to seeing the final product.
