Mercedes-Benz G-Class 35 Edition

The Mercedes-Benz G-Class or G-Wagen, short for Gelandewagen (or cross-country vehicle), is a four-wheel drive full-size luxury SUV. The G-Wagen is characterized by its boxy styling and body-on-frame construction. The G-class was developed as a military vehicle from a suggestion of the Shah of Iran (at the time a significant Mercedes shareholder) to Mercedes and offered as a civilian version in 1979. The German company has just introduced the G-Class 35 Edition.

The Mercedes-Benz G-Class 35 Edition is in fact the 35th celebration of the model. It features a black leather interior with Nappa seats and AMG Performance steering wheel. The exterior has been upgraded with the Chrome and Sport packages, while the standard wheels have been replaced with a set of 18-inch alloy wheels. The 35 Edition will be available in three different colors – black, white and gray metallic colors.

The Mercedes-Benz G-Class 35 Edition is available until May 2015 in two versions: the G350 BlueTEC and the G500. In Germany, the vehicle is priced beginning at 101,031 EUR (130,000 USD) and at 112,812 EUR (145,000 USD) respectively. If you like the German SUV, take a look at the pictures and start dreaming about driving it.
