We now have new details on the Euro-spec MG3 revealed by MG. These come after the British debut of the model at the European Design Center of the company that took place in Birmingham. The new model comes with the styling cues first illustrated on the MG ZERO concept car. Now, the UK Studio has just undergone an additional investment and is now more than double its original size. To be fairly honest, it is now the 5th largest automotive design studio in Britain.
The model was developed to attract young and style conscious buyers. All the ones that do decide to buy one of these new cars will be able to personalize both the exterior and the interior of the new super mini MG. the model comes in three trim levels, 10 colors and a range of at least 10 graphic packs. Not on all, but depending on the model you select, the exterior of the car will include 16-inch Diamond cut alloy wheels, unique LED daytime running lights, sport-design bumper, side sill extensions, rear spoiler, chrome exhaust finishers and also MG insert headlamps. For the interior, the specialists have offered key elements like air conditioning, 6-speaker audio, Bluetooth with audio streaming, DAB radio, USB/Aux input, automatic wipers, rear parking sensors and a lot more.
To build the model, 30 design specialists and 300 engineers from the UK Technical Center have joined forces and worker together. The new MG3 will be the second in a generation of MG vehicles to leave the assembly line at the Birmingham factory, right after the MG6 petrol and diesel range of GT fastbacks and Magnette four-door sports saloons. Extensive work from the MG Design and Engineering team on the architectural package has resulted in interior packaging that rivals or surpasses anything in its class. The model will easily accommodate four 6 feet individuals. Under the hood it will hide a VTi-TECH petrol engine capable of generating 105 PS which will be sent to the wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission.
