Japanese manufacturer has released the first pricing information for their 2014 GT-R with US-spec and for the 2014 Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet. First we will turn our attention towards the first one, the 2014 Nissan GT-R. Before we go any further, please note that both models are now available for sale at Nissan dealers all across the nation.
The carmaker offers increased performance, higher levels of craftsmanship and an all-new optional Premium interior which comes with hand-stitched Amber Red semi-aniline leather appointments, but only for the front seats. There is more. The torque response at the middle RPM range and acceleration at high RPM have been also improved in comparison with the 2010 version of the Nissan GT-R. The retail price suggested by the manufacturer for the 2014 Nissan GT-R includes the GT-R Premium priced at $99.590 and the GT-R Black Edition priced at $109.300.
Under the hood, the model hides an advanced VR38DETT 3.8-liter twin turbo V6 engine capable of generating 545 horsepower and 463 lb. ft. of torque. The engineers have provided increased body rigidity and specification changes to the shock absorbers, front anti-roll and springs that lead to a lower center of gravity. After the modifications, the model has improved high-speed handling and more refined ride comfort. Moving on, we have to mention a new Premium Interior Package, which features hand-stitched Amber Red semi-aniline leather appointments, but only for the front seats.
For the interior the new model received sculpted performance bucket seats for an optimal driving position and a cockpit-style instrument panel with a large center-mounted tachometer and multi-function display. The carmaker offers the 2014 Nissan GT-R in two models, the Premium and Black Edition, just like mentioned above. These come with special lightweight black aluminum forged RAYS wheels, a unique dry carbon fiber rear spoiler and a lot more.
