Nissan has the wraps off their new Qashqai Premier Limited edition with an exclusive initial production reserved only for the 2.0 million current Nissan buyers until the 31st of December. The manufacturer has narrowed the number of built vehicles to 2007 in order to celebrate the launch year of the first crossover, each individual auto bearing its own numbered badge. The special edition is based on the top of the range Tekna model and it was launched in order to mark `the arrival of the first mass market crossover` and it is a mixture between `accessible technology and bold design`.
The interior comes with partially leather and Alcantara trim, chrome side door stills, a numbered badge as well as `Premier Limited Edition` still plates. Also, the auto features the NissanConnect infotainment system and electric seats. The image is completed by a nice contrast between the black carpets and stone colored seats under the panoramic glass roof.
The Qashqai Premier Limited edition rides on 19 inch alloy wheels and is equipped with Bi- LED headlamps and roof rails. The vehicle is available in four colors to choose from: Metallic Red, Metallic Black, Night Shade and Perl White. Nissan included the `Safety Shield` as a standard feature but future owners can choose from an array of other technology features for the car. Therefore, the auto can optionally come with: Moving Object Detection and High Beam Assist, Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition, Forward Emergency Braking or Driver Attention Alert.
The second generation crossover is equipped with a 1.6 liter dCi engine with an output of 130 Hp (96 kW). The engine can be mated to a continuous variable transmission or a manual transmission and all Qashqai Premier Limited Editions come with the ALL- MODE 4X4- I system as a standard feature.
Nissan informs that: `the new Qashqai has been created to meet the demands and expectations of the next-generation crossover buyers`.
