Japanese carmaker Nissan has decided to confirm a suspicion we had. As it turns out, the specialists will reveal a new model developed for the North American market which will be available starting with September the 10th during the 2013 edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show. We are actually talking about the all-new 2014 Nissan Rogue which will be revealed in German and not by coincidence. This is the surprise Nissan has prepared for the 2013 International Auto Show in Frankfurt. A world premier of a production version will also be offered and several teaser photos will be released soon so all we have to do is wait for the m to be made public. Chances are the global version of the Rogue will be a successor to the similar X-Trail. This model will also replace the 7-seat Qashqai+2.
The new 2014 model will be revealed in November and will come as 5-seat model. Both the Rogue and the X-rail will be revealed in the final form as a consequence of the concept version of the HiCross revealed last year. The engineers have also offered a new modular CMF chassis and will come as front- and all-wheel drive variants. The European customers will receive it with a new generation 4-cylinder turbo diesel and each region will have their own variant actually. Close to the new Japanese crossover, the carmaker will also present the Friend-Me concept model that was developed for the European market. We will also have the chance to see two new personalization programs developed for the Note and Micra. These are all the details available for the moment, but more will be released next week.
