This year at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Japanese company Nissan is presenting their new development, the 2014 Nissan X-Trail, which is capable of redefining the compact SUV segment. Just so you know, the US version is called Rogue and also made its debut today. In terms of design, the X-Trail has stylish lines just like a modern crossover with the robust appeal of a regular SUV. The specialists have offered structured headlights with LED daytime running lamps and the D-pillar shape is characteristic.
To transfer the output to the wheels, the engineers have offered 19-inch alloy wheels. Designers have provided chrome, geometric metallic and piano black finishes for the interior, which in fact looks quite great. The interior also has theatre-style seating and the option of two extra seats to make room for seven inside. The comfort offered by the middle row has been improved thanks to extra knee room generated by the longer wheelbase and the new front seats having more heavily sculpted seat backs. In terms of technology, the model comes with the latest generation NissanConnect in-car navigation, information and entertainment system and with the Nissan Safety Shield system.
The new Nissan X-Trail includes advanced electronic four-wheel drive system and ALL MODE 4x4i. The engineers have focused onto developing a model that is best in refinement, environment and economy targets and in the end they have managed to do it. They have been very attentive in terms of aerodynamics and have offered carefully shaped door mirrors and a spoiler to cover the exhaust box and rear panel. This model will be released on the European market at the beginning of next year and then is when we will know more details on it.
