Did you, by any chance, happen to think that you’ve heard everything in matter of crossovers? Well, here’s more to come. Peugeot has officially revealed two small crossovers, the Peugeot 2008 and 3008 Crossway, which will be available as special editions. And this is no surprise, as the crossover fans are more and more each day. People’s tastes in matter of vehicles are different and many of them prefer this type of cars. So it seems there is plenty of room left in the crossover segment.
The Peugeot 2008 Crossway is based on the Allure trim and is distinguished by grey matte 17-inch alloy wheels, tinted windows and compass badges on the front doors. It also comes equipped with standard Grip Control system, navigation system while on the inside we can find Alcantara with red stitching as well as LED lighting for the instrument cluster. This 2008 series is powered by 1.6-liter VTi 120, 1.6 e-HDi 92 and 1.6 L e-HDi 115, pricing beginning at 21,550 EUR in France. For an extra sum Peugeot offers several metallic paints and a park assist system.
As for the Peugeot 3008 Crossway, it features a WIP Nav Plus system, rear parking assist, head-up display and a leather and Alcantara trim on the inside. Here we can also discover copper-colored stitching on the armrests and steering wheel. The floor mats illustrate a compass motif and the door sills have been covered in aluminum. As additional options, there is a rearview camera, Grip Control as well as metallic or pearlescent paints. It is available with 1.6L HDi 115 6-speed manual, 1.6L e-HDi FAP 115 and 2.0L HDi 150, with pricing starting from 30,800 EUR. Both of these two vehicles can be seen at the Peugeot Adventure Museum in Sochaux and they will also be exhibited in October at the Paris Motor Show.
