Porsche 911 Turbo S

That Porsche means the maximum instance of everything starting with luxury and performance, is a fact for anyone in the world. And the company has just reached new heights with their Porsche 911 Turbo S which has just been revealed in Frankfurt. 40 years ago, the first 911 Turbo Concept was introduced on the stage of the same event, so this is not just a pure coincidence.  The maximum expression of Porsche these days will be on sale starting the end of September 2013.

The latest Porsche masterpiece has entered the IAA stage powered by a 3.8-liter 6-cylinder turbo petrol injection engine generating 560 HP (412 kW). This means it is 40 HP (29 kW) more powerful than the Turbo version. Porsche continues to be the only carmaker to offer two turbochargers with variable turbine geometry for a petrol engine. Power is sent to the wheels via a dual-clutch 7-speed PDK which allows the Porsche 911Turbo S to do the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 3.1 seconds and to reach the top speed of 198 mph (318 km/h).

The Porsche 911 Turbo S borrows the four-wheel steering system from the 911 GT3. It is equipped with LED headlights (with DRLs) and camera-based main beam control. The PDCC active anti-roll system, which is being offered for the first time in 911 Turbo models, raises dynamic performance to an upper level. The car also has a deployable and adjustable rear wing and it rides on a set of 20 inch alloys with hub wheel locks. For this fine work of art, future German clients will have to pay at least 195,256 EUR (VAT and other taxes included). And if you can’t afford to be a future client just stay close and watch, because there is plenty to see.
