Rolls Royce is familiar to anyone as a high quality brand and it can be called a champion in matter of luxury. Rolls Royce values high performance products, high value services and as proof we have all the vehicles manufactured by the company, including the Rolls Royce Wraith. Maybe it’s because of this we rarely hear about a tuning program for the vehicle. And though it can be difficult to upgrade this type of a classical vehicle, Mansory takes its chances and develops an aftermarket kit for the vehicle which is being exhibited at the Geneva Motor Show.
In matter of tuning the Rolls Royce Wraith we can say that Mansory has had quite a lot of courage, being one of the first upgrading programs for the luxurious vehicle. Power still comes from the stock V12 engine. However, the figures of the powering unit have been raised to 740 PS (544 kW) at 5,000 rpm and 1,000 Nm of torque between 1,500 rpm and 5,000 rpm. As a consequence, the Mansory Wraith is enabled to sprint from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.4 seconds and it can go up to a maximum speed of 300 km/h.
Besides upgrading the engine, Mansory also created a body kit for the Rolls Royce Wraith. The package includes a new front bumper with integrated LEDs, new front wheel arches, side skirts, a rear apron and two rear spoilers, one on the roof and one on the boot lid. All of these components are made of carbon fiber. The classical car rides on a set of 22 inch light alloy wheels and the inside is customizable at request. There is no rumour about the price, but on the whole, the tuning package doesn’t look that bad.
