We now have the possibility to see for the first time the new model developed by British company Rolls-Royce, the Wraith. The manufacturer thought the best place to present their latest achievement is at the 2013 edition of the Geneva Motor Show.
So that you know, this new model has an engine capable of generating 642 BHP and 800 Nm of torque which enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds. To be really honest, the Rolls-Royce Wraith is the most powerful and dynamic Rolls-Royce in history. From the profile, we can observe the model has bold lines, tension in the panels and a raked rear screen. It looks very dynamic also thanks to the recessed grille, the wide rear track and a dramatic two-tone presentation. On the inside the model is complemented by Starlight Headliner, a bespoke feature available beyond Phantom family cars for the first time. It has 1.340 fiber optic lamps in the roof lining and so it offers the impression you are under a clear, starry night sky.
The suspension of the car has also been tuned to minimize body roll and discreetly amplify feedback when cornering. The specialists have achieved agility improvements with no compromise in terms of ride. Thanks to the Satellite Aided Transmission technology, the power train has been taken to a new level of effortless delivery. When it comes to mechanical and electrical technology, well these deliver systems like head-up display, adaptive headlights and the keyless opening boot. For instance, the voice activation commands come with a one-touch call button found on the steering wheel. Additional improvements in terms of communications come in the design and in the functionality of the elegant Spirit of Ecstasy Rotary Controller. How this works, you might wonder. Well, it allows navigation through on-screen functions using a touch pad that features pinch and full functionality to echo smart phone usage. The price for the new Rolls-Royce Wraith was established at EUR245.000 for the European market.
