Seat Leon Cupra 280 by JE Design

You have to be pretty good to survive in the changing world of auto tuning. Many of the tuning companies manage to do that because they specialize on certain brands and they aim only the fans of those brands. So is the JE Design. The German tuning firm is involved in the development and the distribution of vehicle tuning parts for Volkswagen, Audi and Seat. More specifically, the staff there focuses on the car styling and on improving aerodynamics according to some special methods. The latest tuning pack coming from them is for the Seat Leon Cupra 280.

JE Design can equip the Seat Leon Cupra 280 with a front spoiler, faux carbon fiber side skirts and a new set of 19-inch alloy wheels featuring a matte black finish while a regular Seat Leon uses 205/55 r16 tires. The tuning company also offers a four-tailpipe sports exhaust system, lowering springs and a KW coilover suspension that reduces the ride height by up to 45mm. So you will have a more aerodynamic vehicle and you should feel it on the street.

The Seat Leon Cupra 280 suffers of an engine upgrade via an optimized ECU. This allows the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine to develop 350 PS (258 kW) and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft) of torque, which is an increase of 70 PS (51 kW) and 60 Nm (44 lb-ft). Thanks to the extra power, the hatchback can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 5.1 seconds which is 0.6 seconds more compared to the stock model. So the result is a sportier and more goodlooking vehicle that should please any of its future owners.
