Seat Leon Cupra by JE Design

You have to be pretty good to survive in the changing world of auto tuning. Many of the tuning companies manage to do that because they specialize on certain brands and they aim only the fans of those brands. So is the JE Design. The German tuning firm is involved in the development and the distribution of vehicle tuning parts for Volkswagen, Audi and Seat. More specifically, the staff there focuses on the car styling and on improving aerodynamics according to some special methods. The latest tuning pack coming from them is for the Seat Leon Cupra.

JE Design created the new styling program for the Seat Leon Cupra aiming at offering it an aggressive appearance. The team there has even established the correct pricing which is €6,188 ($8,411 / £4,913). Now let’s see what this wide body kit contains. It has a three-piece front bumper, extended wheel arches and faux carbon fiber side skirts. The package also includes a modified rear bumper with a sporty diffuser. On request the vehicle can also receive a KW coilover suspension, auxiliary LED turn signals, a two-tone wrap and 19-inch alloy wheels with Dunlop Sport Maxx GT rubbers.

JE Design also took care of upgrading the powering unit of the Seat Leon Cupra. The turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine has been tuned to develop 350 PS (258 kW) and 440 Nm (324 lb-ft) of torque. This means an increase of 70 PS (51 kW) and 60 Nm (44 lb-ft). This way the hatchback can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 5.4 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). These are the most noticeable elements of the tuning package.
